                                          47th Sandbjerg Meeting on Membrane Transport

 

                            Monday May 18th, 1.00 pm – Wednesday, May 20th, 2.00 pm 2015

                                                   Sandbjerg Estate, Sønderborg, Denmark

 

This year´s programme will include the following oral sessions, all with a series of excellent invited speakers:

 

  1. Na+/K+ ATPase isoforms in health and disease (coordinators: Karin Lykke-Hartmann and Bente Vilsen, Aarhus, Denmark)
  1. Structure and function of membrane receptors (coordinator: Christian Brix Folsted Andersen, Aarhus, Denmark)
  2. Sensing through channels (coordinator Helle Prætorius, Aarhus, Denmark)
  3. Free communications in membrane transport (coordinators: Markus Bleich, Kiel, Germany and Ivana Novak, Copenhagen, Denmark)

In addition, there will be a poster session and one plenary speaker.

This year’s plenary speaker will be

  1. Prof. Dr. Christoph Korbmacher, Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen Nürnberg, Germany

Titel: The epithelial Na+ channel ENaC

 

If you would like to participate in this year’s Sandbjerg meeting, please let us know before the 1th of May 2015. Please note that registration for all participants takes place via the following link: auws.au.dk/47th_Sandbjerg_Meeting_on_Membrane_Transport_2015

If you wish to contribute with a presentation, please send a tentative presentation title and abstract (format specified on the homepage) and indicate whether you prefer oral or poster format. Based on these, we will select a number of oral presentations of 10-20 minutes duration and set up the final programme, which you will receive early May 2015.

 

The number of participants in the meeting is limited to about 80. The full price for room and board is DKK 2500 pr. participant (free for pre- and post-graduate (PhD) students from Aarhus University, for other students the price is DKK 1200).
